Christian working moms: it’s time to stop feeling guilty, exhausted, and out of balance.

And to be clear, “Christian working mom” includes: stay-at-home moms, work-from-home moms, work-outside-the-home moms, and everything in-between. We’re all doing work, just in different forms ((housework, office work, side hustles…) and for different monetary rates.

Work, when successfully balanced with faith and family, brings incredible joy. It deepens your relationship with Christ, strengthens your bond with your family, and increases your productivity and efficiency. The problem is, striking the balance can be incredibly difficult. Managing all of the things you have to do without sacrificing what’s most important can seem impossible. Trust me, I’ve been there.

Five years ago, I was thrust into being self-employed on someone else’s terms. It was a “refining through the fire” experience that has been a challenging journey, but one that I now know was orchestrated by God for my good. Since then, I’ve learned so much about how God wants me to bring him glory through my work, while doing the same in motherhood, and without losing sight of my relationship with Christ.
