An Easy Way To Memorize Scripture: Artsy Olive Review

As a busy momma, I’m always looking for an easy way to memorize scripture and creative ways to abide in God’s Word.

My children wake early, so they are my alarm clock. Within 10 minutes of opening my eyes I am taking kids to the potty, consoling anyone who woke up on the wrong side of the bed, adoring beautiful sleepy eyes, while simultaneously breaking up fights. As much as I would love to have quiet time first thing in the morning, it doesn’t work for me and my schedule in this season of life. 

Surrounding myself with scripture has been the best way for me to read the Bible throughout my day. My phone’s lock screen is a free Bible verse image from She Reads Truth app. I have small notecards taped to my bathroom mirrors with promises from Jesus. And I have a chalkboard hanging in my dining room where I write a scripture that will uplift my family in our season of life. 

I know that “Christian decor” can come across as not genuine or cheesy for some. For me, it’s a safe guard to make sure I’m filling my busy day with touches and whispers from God. Being brutally honest here… I might go days without his Word if I didn’t have these rays of light in my home!

I’m happy to say that the quality is nice as well. The frame is solid, the print is high resolution, and there is no plexiglass – which is a plus for me since my kids have knocked over frames and cracked the plexiglass multiple times. This print and frame seems to be child-proof!
