Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

Ephesians 6:17

If there is one responsibility that we mommas must take seriously, it’s equipping our children with the armor of God. There is no way that we can battle all of their enemies for them – emotionally, spiritually, and physically – they are up against forces we don’t fully understand.

I’m always looking for new ways to share the Word of God with my children. I was thrilled to get my hands on The Tiny Truths Illustrated Bible!

The Tiny Truths Illustrated Bible Review

I received a copy of The Tiny Truths Illustrated Bible for free in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

The very first thing I ask myself when looking at a children’s Bible is, “Does it contain all the critical parts of the gospel?” A Bible should always contain the creation, Jesus’ birth, death, resurrection, and a red thread of God’s purpose for us throughout. Many children’s Bibles will leave out one or two of these elements. I promptly toss those!

Tiny Truths Illustrated Bible contains solid teaching. It obviously leaves out many stories, as all children’s bibles do. But the critical parts of the gospel are all present. This Bible also includes stories from Acts and some parts of Revelation – an amazing feature for a children’s Bible that is hard to find.

This Bible is incredibly beautiful, with the illustrations filling up the entire page, wrapping around the text and engaging even the youngest of readers. The reading level is elementary-level, so this is also a great Bible for early readers.

With Easter right around the corner, I’m going to put my copy in my kid’s Easter basket and can’t wait to read it with them. This would make the perfect Easter gift for a child, niece, nephew, grandchild, or friend. Grab your copy of the Tiny Truths Illustrated Bible on Amazon here.

I recommend reading any children’s Bible as a supplement to a real Bible. Sure, they won’t understand everything, but they will be reading God’s inspired word as it was meant to be, with nothing excluded.
