Do I have time to be a Messy Tired Love Mom Life Group leader?

There is very little prep work that goes into being a Mom Life group leader. The schedule is set for you, you have a Mom Life Group Leader Guide that tells you exactly what to do each week. The only time commitment you’ll have is to decide on when and where you will meet, invite your mom friends, and then ensure you’re diving into God’s Word together.

How can I lead a Messy Tired Love Mom Life Group when I don’t have many mom friends?

If you want to make mom friends, this is a great reason to start a Mom Life group! Chances are, you know at least one other mom friend. Start with her! Groups don’t have to be big. Then, as you meet other moms at the park, at school, at the grocery store, wherever – invite them. You can also use social media to invite other moms.

What do we do with our kids while we meet?

Bring them with you! Children who see their parents reading the BIble, praying, and being in community with other believers are more likely to model this behavior when they are adults. We want to show our kids what it looks like to follow Jesus. They don’t need to participate, just see what you are doing. You can meet at a park, a friends house, or somewhere with an indoor play place so the kids can play while you participate in the Life Group. It might get loud and that’s OK. This is meant to be a group that fits with your everyday mom life.

  • What at great idea! I”m a pastor’s wife and we have life groups at church by age groups and of course a women’s ministry. But moms definitely need life groups. Love this line, “You don’t have to mom life alone.”

    • Yes! I feel that Moms need special support in their walk – it’s such a challenging and unique job we have.

  • I love this idea. I-clicked to see if anyone is hosting one of these groups in my area because I would love to be a part of such a group. We definitely need the support and love of other likeminded individuals. #HisGraceGirls

    • Feel free to host your own! The Meeting Leader Guide is set up for anyone to host with zero prep. Just grab some moms and sit down together at the feet of Jesus. If you try it out, I’d love to hear how it goes.
