The Praying Momma Bible Reading Plan

The Praying Momma Bible Reading Plan

As Christian mommas, prayer is a very important part of our relationship with God. It’s essential for praise and worship of God, cultivating an intimate relationship with him, and for those we pray for.

Oh, and also for our sanity when mom life is crazy.

Prayer is very simple at it’s essence, but it also very complicated. We often greatly underestimate it’s power and treat it as a wishing machine rather than direct communication with God. But what if our prayers were deep, powerful, and effective? How would our mom lives be transformed? Our would our children’s lives be transformed?

The Praying Momma Bible Reading Plan

The Praying Momma Bible Reading Plan

The Praying Momma Bible Reading Plan is meant to be a way for you to fit your Bible reading into your day however it works for you. Here are a few options:

15-day reading plan method: Read one set of verses a day. You’ll spend 3-5 minutes in the Bible and then can think and pray about what you read throughout the rest of your day.

3-day reading plan method: Tackle one section a day, reading all of the related verses together to take notes on similarities and differences you may find.

Come back method: Read a verses or two, pray, meditate, journal, and discuss with a friend. Then come back when you are ready to move to another. This may take days, weeks, or months.

Some of these verses are that will guide you in what prayer is, how to pray, and how God listens. Other verses are examples of what you can pray, or circumstances that may or not be appropriate for prayer. Take your time and really think about each verse and ask God to reveal what he is trying to say to you directly. You can do this while folding laundry, doing dishes, running errands, or watching your kids at the park. The Praying Momma Bible Reading Plan is designed just for you, momma!

Keep in mind, taking verses out of context is not a good way to study the Bible. It dilutes the message and puts us in danger of falling out of line with God’s will for our lives. If you have time, read the verses in context of the chapter they’re in. If you really want to dive deep, pull out commentaries and discuss with a friend!

The Praying Momma Bible Reading Plan fits into any busy mom schedule, allowing moms to dive deeper in their prayer lives without stress. Click To Tweet
